Not only have I had great personal success with this business model, I’ve also helped my students succeed as well.
What if I told you that my course helped and created multiple 6-figure entrepreneurs and even a 7-figure canadian entrepreneur? Let me share my journey with you.
I used to climb that corporate ladder. Every year, I had better roles that paid more. With every promotion I got, I felt good because I thought I was doing something important, and that I was someone great. Success, as you know, is addicting and soon I found that the happiness and satisfaction that came with each recognition from my boss and company were fading faster every time. I wanted to do more, so I challenged myself more, setting records and trying to beat them. I kept pushing myself to do more and be more because, at the time, that was the only way I thought I could validate my existence–with achievements and recognition from peers and colleagues I looked up to, but also with financial success. Eventually, I realized the game to chase status was not fulfilling. Deep down, I knew life had more to offer than just chasing money and working myself to complete exhaustion.
How I became an Airbnb Entrepreneur
After getting fired from my last white-collar job, I decided to try something different. I wanted to control my destiny. I no longer wanted to be in the constant and never-ending rat race.
I had no idea that something different would lead me down this path. You see, after getting fired, I got pretty depressed, because all of my self-worth was attached to “work.”
I started experimenting with different business ideas. I knew I wanted to be my own boss, but did not know precisely where to go or how to do it. After much trial and error, and shelling out thousands on failed new business ventures, I stumbled upon this idea of starting an Airbnb business leveraging other people’s properties.
Now, I’m pretty sure that you have a bunch of question marks floating around your head at this point. That’s okay. I had the same reaction when I first heard about this. But, more than confused, I was curious and, most importantly, interested to experiment.
I took my last 5,000 dollars from my savings to invest in this Airbnb idea.
What I found was utterly shocking. Within the first 3 hours of publishing my first 1-bedroom unit on Airbnb, I had my very first booking for $266.
Within the first month, I made close to $1,000 in profit with just 1 property. So I created a system to look for more properties.
By the time I was done, I was generating over $10,000 a month in less than 6 months. And I took home close to $35,000 in one of my best months. The beauty of Passive Airbnb was that once I had everything set up, I only needed to step back and let the process work its magic on its own. No rushed deadlines, no demanding bosses and clients breathing down my neck, no late-calls and all-weekenders keeping me from living my best life yet! THIS is the kind of success I’ve been dreaming of.
Now, I help young (or old) entrepreneurs learn how to make money with Airbnb and go through the process of launching their own modern business on Airbnb without owning a single property.
